Matcha Chia Breakfast With Yogurt


  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup of nut milk (almond, oat, and cashew are favourites)
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp crushed flaxseed
  • 150g Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp of nuts and seeds for topping (pistachios, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds)


Mix chia seeds with nut milk, maple syrup, coconut flakes, and matcha really well, and leave it in the fridge overnight (minimum 8 hours). Best to put them in an airtight container and shake well.
The following day, give the mixture a good stir or shake.
In a large glass/bowl layer your yogurt of choice, add the crushed flaxseed, and then place the chia pudding on top. Finally, add your nuts and seeds of choice and more maple syrup if you’re after that extra sweetness or you can complement this breakfast with fresh mango as it works particularly well.
